Welcome to Miniature Cattle & Animal Farm

Welcome to Miniature Cattle & Animal Farm, a family-owned farm in Waleska, Georgia, where our family and farm team work together to raise, care for, and place quality animals with families, hobby farms, breeders, and animal lovers.

For us, this farm is more than a business.

It is a family effort.

Our children have grown up around the animals, our team helps with the daily work that keeps the farm running, and our veterinarian plays an important role in maintaining the health and well-being of our animals.

We believe that caring for animals is a responsibility that requires time, consistency, teamwork, and genuine commitment.

A Family Farm Built Around Our Animals

Our farm is operated by our family with the help of our dedicated team.

Every day brings something different—from feeding and maintaining the farm to handling animals, checking pastures, caring for young animals, managing records, preparing animals for their new homes, and communicating with families interested in adding an animal to their farm.

Our goal is simple:

Raise healthy, well-cared-for animals and help place them with the right families.

My Husband — Farm Operations & Our Team

The daily work of a farm takes dedication.

Our husband and father is responsible for the hands-on farm operations, working alongside our team to make sure the animals and property receive the attention they need every day.

This includes helping with:

  • Daily animal care
  • Feeding
  • Pasture management
  • Fencing and farm maintenance
  • Handling animals
  • Moving animals safely
  • Preparing animals for pickup
  • Preparing animals for transportation
  • General farm operations
  • Working with our farm team

A healthy farm requires hard work behind the scenes.

Much of what makes an animal ready for its new home happens long before the buyer arrives.

Our Veterinarian — Animal Health & Veterinary Care

Our veterinarian plays an important role in our animal health program.

We work with our veterinarian regarding appropriate veterinary care, preventive health, vaccinations, examinations, testing, reproductive management, and other health needs.

Our veterinarian helps us maintain species-appropriate health programs and address the individual needs of our animals.

Animal health is one of our highest priorities.

We believe buyers should have access to accurate health information about the animals they are considering purchasing, and applicable health records and documentation are provided with the animal according to the terms of the sale.

Our Children — Growing Up on the Farm

Our children are an important part of our family and our farm life.

Growing up around animals teaches children lessons that cannot be learned from a classroom alone.

They see firsthand that animals require:

  • Patience
  • Responsibility
  • Respect
  • Consistent care
  • Gentle handling
  • Hard work

Our farm is a family environment, and our children have the opportunity to experience the everyday realities of caring for animals.

From watching babies grow to being around the daily work of the farm, animals have become an important part of our family’s life.

Our Family

At the heart of Miniature Cattle & Animal Farm is our family.

We are proud to share our farm life with our children, our team, our customers, and the animals that make this place special.

Every animal that leaves our farm represents the work of many people—from daily farm care to veterinary oversight, record keeping, preparation, customer communication, and transportation planning.

That is why we take the process of placing an animal with a new family seriously.

Our Animals

Depending on current availability, our farm offers:

  • Miniature Highland cattle
  • Miniature cattle
  • Miniature horses
  • Miniature donkeys
  • Miniature goats
  • Alpacas

Each species has different needs.

Our care programs are therefore designed around the individual species rather than treating every animal the same.

Our Philosophy

Health First

We believe a healthy animal is the foundation of a successful sale and a successful long-term relationship between an animal and its new owner.

We work with our veterinarian on appropriate health care, preventive measures, examinations, testing, and other veterinary needs.

Responsible Breeding

We believe responsible breeding should focus on more than simply producing the smallest animal possible.

We consider:

  • Health
  • Structure
  • Genetics
  • Temperament
  • Breed characteristics
  • Reproductive soundness
  • Overall quality

Our goal is to raise animals that are healthy, functional, and suitable for their intended purpose.

Proper Handling

Animals need appropriate handling from an early age.

We work to provide species-appropriate handling and socialization while respecting the natural behavior and needs of each animal.

Honest Information

We want buyers to understand what they are purchasing.

We encourage questions about:

  • Size
  • Health
  • Temperament
  • Registration
  • Genetics
  • Care
  • Feeding
  • Housing
  • Transportation
  • Breeding
  • Long-term ownership

We would rather answer questions before a purchase than have a buyer discover later that an animal was not the right fit for their situation.

Preparing Animals for Their New Homes

When you reserve an animal with us, the process does not stop at the deposit.

A 30% reservation deposit allows us to reserve the animal specifically for you and begin preparing for pickup or transportation.

Depending on the animal, preparation may include:

  • Health checks
  • Veterinary care
  • Applicable testing
  • Vaccinations
  • Health records
  • Registration paperwork
  • Identification
  • Transportation documentation
  • Scheduling
  • Preparing the animal for its transition

The remaining 70% balance is due before the animal leaves our farm, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
