Buy a Miniature Donkey From Our Farm
If you are looking to buy a Miniature Donkey, Ernie is a young jack foal available from our family farm in Waleska, Georgia.
When choosing a young miniature donkey, we encourage buyers to consider age, current height, parent size, conformation, temperament, health, handling, and overall development. Since Ernie is still young, his current height should not be considered a guarantee of his final mature height.
Contact us to ask about Ernie’s current availability, health records, care, additional photographs, transportation options, and the process of reserving him.
Where to Buy Miniature Donkey Foals
If you are searching for where to buy miniature donkey foals, our family farm in Waleska, Georgia offers individual miniature donkeys raised with attention to their health, handling, nutrition, hoof care, and development.
Ernie is receiving age-appropriate care and veterinary oversight as he grows. We encourage prospective buyers to ask questions about his current development, care, health records, parent size, and transportation before purchasing.
We also work with buyers outside Georgia and can discuss professional transportation options and applicable interstate requirements.
Ernie’s Miniature Donkey Size
Ernie currently stands approximately 27 inches tall.
He was born on April 15, 2026, so he is still a young jack foal with additional growth and development ahead of him. His parents are listed at approximately 31–32 inches.
Ernie’s current height gives buyers a useful picture of his size at this stage, but young donkeys can continue to grow as they mature. We do not promise a specific mature height based solely on a foal’s current measurements.
Instead, we encourage buyers to consider current size together with age, parent size, conformation, health, and overall development.
Ernie’s Care & Health
Ernie is raised with age-appropriate nutrition, clean water, appropriate forage, routine hoof care, regular handling, and veterinary oversight. Young miniature donkeys receive care based on their individual age and developmental needs.
Applicable health and veterinary records can be discussed with prospective buyers. We also encourage buyers to have Ernie examined by their own veterinarian after arrival and to establish an ongoing relationship with an equine veterinarian familiar with miniature donkeys.
Reserving Ernie
If Ernie is the miniature donkey foal you have been looking for, contact us to confirm his current availability and learn about the reservation process.
A 30% reservation deposit is required to reserve an available animal. If a buyer later cancels before pickup or delivery, 90% of the reservation deposit is refunded, with 10% retained as a reservation and preparation fee.
The remaining 70% balance is due before the animal leaves the farm, unless another arrangement has been agreed upon in writing.
Farm Pickup & Transportation
Ernie can be picked up from our family farm in Waleska, Georgia by appointment.
For buyers outside the local area, buyers may arrange qualified livestock transportation, or we can work with appropriate professional transportation arrangements. Transportation costs are generally separate from the purchase price and are the buyer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
Health Records & Sale Documentation
When Ernie is purchased, we will provide the applicable health and sale documentation associated with the animal.
Depending on the animal and destination, documentation may include available vaccination and veterinary records, identification information, and interstate health documentation when required.
Interstate requirements can vary by destination, so buyers should contact us early enough to allow the appropriate veterinary and transportation preparations to be completed.
Preparing for Ernie’s Arrival
Before bringing Ernie home, buyers should have a secure pasture or enclosure, appropriate fencing, clean water, suitable forage and feed, safe shelter, and access to a veterinarian familiar with equines and miniature donkeys.
Because Ernie is a young donkey, buyers should also consider his social needs and provide appropriate companionship rather than keeping him isolated.
After transportation, allow Ernie time to settle into his new surroundings and gradually establish his normal feeding, handling, and care routine.
